RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL TRIP – 2019

The Annual trip of Rhythm World was organised on the 3rd of November, 2019, to “Maresia Beach Villa , Wadduwa”. All members who joined this outing enjoyed their day, participating in the games organised, irrespective of their ages. There was singing and dancing throughout the day, whilst some enjoyed a dip in the pool. As always, it was a day of great fun for the family of Rhythm World. [more pictures in Gallery]

RHYTHM WORLD X’MAS DINNER DANCE- 2018

The Rhythm World Dance Studio held its Annual X ’mas Dinner Dance on the 8th of December. The music was provided by ‘VINS Entertainment”

The Medal Examination Certificates, Trophies & Medals were awarded at the Christmas party followed by dance demonstrations by the candidates who scored the highest marks at the Medal Examination in October, 2018.

The games, dancing and general merriment was enjoyed by all present.

RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL TRIP – 2018

The Annual trip of Rhythm World was organised on the 27th of June, 2018, to “Omega Residency, Kuruwita”.

It was a day for the members of Rhythm World to relax, whilst enjoying the company of each other, away from the dance studio. There were games organised & all members, irrespective of their age, participated with much enthusiasm. Some enjoyed a dip in the pool. As always, it was a day of great fun for the family of Rhythm World.

RHYTHM WORLD X’MAS DINNER DANCE- 2017

The Rhythm World Dance Studio held its Annual X’mas Dinner Dance on the 15th of December. The music was provided by ‘VINS Entertainment”

There were games and demonstrations by students of Rhythm World to entertain those present. It was a night of fun and great entertainment with the floor packed with dancers of Rhythm World.

RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL TRIP – 2017

The Annual trip of Rhythm World was to “Golden Star Beach Hotel, Negombo” on the 8th of June. All those who joined in this annual event had the time of their life rollicking in the pool, walking on the beach, dancing or just relaxing in the shade whilst enjoying the company of each other. As always, it was a day of fun for the members of Rhythm World to once again enjoy a day out with their colleagues in dance. [more pictures in Gallery]

The Rhythm World X' mas party – 2016

The Rhythm World X' mas party was held on the 11th of December, with the participation of the members of Rhythm World and their family and friends.

HALLOWEEN – 2016

Rhythm World held its Halloween Dinner Dance on the 29th of October, with the participation of over 50 members of the Dance school.

RHYTHM WORLD HALLOWEEN – 2015

Rhythm World held its Halloween Dinner Dance on the 31st of October. The students had a fun time dancing whilst most of them dressed for the occasion.

A special Halloween dance was performed by a few senior students of Rhythm World.

RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL TRIP – 2015

It was a day of fun for the members of Rhythm World to once again enjoy a day out with their colleagues in dance.

The Annual trip was to “Carolina Beach Resort, Chilaw” on the 31st of July. All those who joined in this annual event had a time of their life rollicking in the pool, walking on the beach or just relaxing in the shade whilst enjoying the company of each other.

RHYTHM WORLD X’ MAS DINNER DANCE

The Rhythm World X’mas Dinner Dance was organized on the 20th of December, 2014. The members of Rhythm World enjoyed the evening of fun and dance whilst enjoying the company of their fellow dancers.

RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT

The Annual Rhythm World Bowling Tournament was held on the 6th of November, 2014 at Excel World with over 49 members participating in this fun event.

ANNUAL TRIP- 2014

Once again in keeping with the tradition of Rhythm World Dance Studio, the Annual Day Trip of Rhythm World was organized on the 8th of September, 2014, with over 45 members of Rhythm World joining in the fun & games at Aqua Pearl Lake Resort, Bolgoda.

In the usual Rhythm World spirit the day was filled with friendship and joy with the members enjoying themselves trying their hand at Riffle shooting, Rope climbing, playing water Polo or either singing & dancing.

All members simply enjoyed each others' company in the true spirit of – dancing for Friendship, fitness & fun.

RHYTHM WORLD X'MAS DINNER DANCE

The Rhythm World Annual X'mas Dinner Dance was on the 15th of December with over 90 members dancing the night away to the music of DJ Mario with much fun whilst enjoying the company of their friends at Rhythm World.

Singing of Christmas Carols was the highlight of the evening.

The distribution of certificates to the students who completed their Bronze, Silver and Gold medal also took place at this event. A special trophy was presented to the students who received the highest marks in their respective grades.

RHYTHM WORLD HALLOWEEN NIGHT

The Rhythm World Holloween night was on the 25th of October with over 70 members attending the function to enjoy a night fun and dance.

In the true spirit of Rhythm World the evening brought a sense of comradre; that brought a sense of togetherness and fun, with all students from various levels of dance and different ages, enjoying the company of each other whilst dancing their cares away.

The costumes designed and worn by the members in keeping with the Halloween theme were simply outstanding. It was indeed a pleasure to see skeletons, Dracula, Lucifer, Scream, She devils, Zoro, the dead risen from the grave and many more dancing and enjoying the fun and games on Halloween night.

ANNUAL TRIP- 2013

The Annual Day Trip of Rhythm World was organized on the 19th of September, 2013. Over 55 members of Rhythm World joined in the fun & games at Kamili Beach Resort, Kalutara.

In the usual Rhythm World spirit It was a day filled with friendship and joy with the members enjoying themselves playing Beach Volleyball & water Polo or either singing & dancing.

ANNUAL CRICKET MATCH BETWEEN DANCERS & MUSICIANS

The annual Cricket match between Dancers and Musicians was organized on the 22nd of July, 2013. Due to the prevalent bad weather the cricket match was played at the Austasia Indoor Cricket nets.

It was a time of great fun combined with friendly competition and entertainment.

RHYTHM WORLD MID YEAR DINNER DANCE

A mid-year Dinner Dance was organized by Rhythm World Dance Studio on Friday the 28th of June with the dance band “ Classic ” in attendance, lead by Tony Pekeer who is also a student of Rhythm World.

The evening was enjoyed by all who attended and this event brought a sense of togetherness and fun, with all students from various levels of dance enjoying the company of each other whilst dancing their cares away after a long week of stress.

ANNUAL TRIP

The Annual Trip of Rhythm World was organized on the 31 st of August, 2012. Over 55 members of Rhythm World joined this day of fun to Coral Sands, Hikkaduwa.

It was a day filled with friendship and joy with all the members joining in the fun of either sea-bathing, playing Beach Volleyball, singing & dancing or simply enjoying themselves in the pool .

BOWLING NIGHT

Rhythm World held its Bowling Night at Excel World on the 1 st of August followed by Dinner.

It was an evening of fun and excitement when over 65 students of all ages enjoyed each others' company whilst trying their best to win the Challenge Trophy for their respective teams.

The Challenge Trophy was won by the Team headed by Sumudu Silva.

Winning team : Sumudu, Eromi, Radesh, Dileeka, Imran, Daya, Thushira, Uthpala, Rashmin, Santhushi and Rustom.

1 ST MONTHLY SOCIAL FOR THE YEAR 2012.

The first monthly Social for the year was on the 27 th of January, 2012, with the participation of more than 60 members of Rhythm World.

These monthly Socials have been scheduled in keeping with the motto of Rhythm World ; Dancing for pleasure, friendship, fitness & fun !

RHYTHM WORLD CHRISTMAS PARTY HELD ON THE 18TH OF DECEMBER, 2011

RHYTHM WORLD NEW YEAR DINE N' DANCE

The Rhythm World New Social was organized on the 22 nd of January, 2011 at the Samudra Devi Reception hall, Rajagiriya.

There were over 80 dance enthusiasts who attended the event. It was a time for dance and games that kept both the young and the old on their toes.

This event was also attended by Mr. Dirk Bastert – International trainer who was in Sri Lanka to conduct workshops for students of Rhythm World.

RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL TRIP 2010

The Annual Trip of Rhythm World was on the 25 th of June to Victoria Golf & Country Club, Digana, Kandy .

The Annual Cricket match between Rhythm World and Victoria Golf club was held and the Trophy was won by Victoria Golf Club.

The rest of the day was spent playing Badminton, Swimming and Horse riding with all members of Rhythm World interacting with each other to enjoy the day and the company.

2 ND RHYTHM WORLD BOWLING NIGHT

Yet again Rhythm World organized a ‘Bowling Night' for the members of Rhythm World at Excel World, followed by Dinner on the 30 th of May, 2010.

With the participation of over 60 members it was a night enjoyed by all!

CRICKET MATCH BETWEEN MEMBERS OF RHYTHM WORLD AND A TEAM OF MUSICIANS.

A friendly Cricket match was organized on the 29 th of March, 2010 at the Race Course [Municipal Grounds]. It was a very interesting and thrilling match with equally strong players on both the Rhythm World and Musicians teams.

However, after a very close and tough fight the Rhythm World team managed to win the match by 01 run.

RHYTHM WORLD BOWLING NIGHT

\ Rhythm World organized a ‘Bowling Night' for the members of Rhythm World at Excel World, followed by Dinner.

With over 65 members participating in the Bowling, it was a night of great fun, entertainment and friendship. It was a night enjoyed by all !

RHYTHM WORLD X'MAS / NEW YEAR SOCIAL

Rhythm World Dance Studio had its X'mas / New Year Social on Sunday the 17 th of January, 2010 at ‘Kalalaya' hall with the participation of more than 93 members of Rhythm World.

The band ‘Freeze' provided the music for dancing and the members of Rhythm World had a great time dancing & just socializing whilst enjoying a sumptuous B. B. Q. dinner

The Balloon dance competition was a treat indeed ; enjoyed by all present.

RHYTHM WORLD YOUNG DANCER'S COMMITTEE

A ‘Young Dancer's Committee' has been formed by the young Dancers of the Rhythm World Dance Studio in order to organize various activities at the Dance Studio and thereby continue the fellowship and togetherness prevalent amongst the Members of Rhythm World.

The maiden project organized by the ‘Young Dancer's Committee' was the ‘Rhythm Movie-Nite' held on the 30 th of August, 2009.

The movie shown at the Dance hall was meticulously organized by the ‘Young Dancer's Committee' that ended with a short dancing session.

The ‘Young Dancer's Committee' plans to organize many more activities on behalf of the Rhythm World Dance Studio .

RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL TRIP - 2009

The Annual Rhythm World Dancesport Competition for the students of the Dance school, was held on the 26 th of February, 2006 , with Mr. Tony Fernandez as Adjudicator.

The motivation and the enthusiasm of the participants made this Event a grand show indeed. All students were dressed for the occasion in style - and with the encouragement of the audience ; all competitors performed their very best – making the decision for the Adjudicator a difficult task.

The Award ceremony was held on the 3 rd of March, 2006 with a Live Band “Perfect Combination – Yohan & Honorine” to keep the crowd on the Dance floor until the following morning.

RHYTHM WORLD X MAS DINNER DANCE

It was a lively occasion with all members of Rhythm World and their families enjoying the true spirit of Christmas with lots of fun, laughter and dance until the wee hours of the morning.

RHYTHM WORLD ANNUAL TRIP [2006]

Once again the Annual Trip of Rhythm World for the year 2006 was at the Aquarius Sports Resort – Marawila on the 1 st of May, 2006 .

The day was full of fun, laughter and games ; the passing of the ‘Water balloon' and the ‘Egg throwing' competitions were the highlight of the day, which were conducted amidst much gaiety.

The cricket match too was very entertaining– with many a talented cricketer, both male and female.

The sing-song and the dancing session brought this lovely day to a close

SOCIAL GET-TOGETHER & DINNER DANCE

A Social Get-together was organized on the 7 th of July, 2006 with ‘Nalin & the Star Combination” and a DJ providing the music for dancing.

This Get-together was organized in order that the students of all classes would have an opportunity to meet each other – whilst having a rocking time together.

The distribution of the Bronze Medal certificates to those who passed their Medal Examination was also held at this social event.

SENIOR SOCIAL AND FELLOWSHIP

A Social and Fellowship for students over 30 years of age was organized during the month of August 2006 for the Senior Dance enthusiasts. It was a very great success and it has been decided that this would be a monthly feature, in order to encourage the Senior dance enthusiasts to practice their dancing skills whilst enjoying the company of their contemporari
